What is LUG@RU?
Linux User Group @ Ryerson University (LUG@RU) promotes the use of Linux, Unix, and FOSS as well as a place to come and ask questions about Linux in general. Come to any of our meetings and have your questions answered!
We work on projects related to Linux and FOSS and are always open to new ideas brought forward. We aim to provide students with a place they can work with other students on meaningful projects surrounding the world of Linux and FOSS. We also hope to expose students to the many opportunities experience with Linux provides in terms of careers.
Since 2017, the LUG@RU has come together several times each month to increase awareness about the many possibilities with open source, as well as hosting events on campus.
We welcome students in all faculties and programs to join us.
If you have any questions feel free to contact us at ryersonlug@gmail.com
We also ask that all memebers who choose to participate in LUG events follow Ryerson's policies and help create a welcoming environment especially for those who are new and learning.
