We welcome Evan Leibovitch from the Linux Professional Institute to LUG@RU! He will be discussing careeers in open source and the history of Linux Professional Institute in Toronto.

This is a great opportunity to listen to someone working in the open source industry about career paths that might be of interest, especially for those starting co-op or seeking internships in new areas of computer science.

The Linux Professional Institute is a non-profit organization which helps individuals advance their careers in open source with valuable certifications. They are globally recognized and the largest vendor-neutral Linux and open source certification body.
